Ann Dennis, 89, of Cheyenne, Wyo., formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Life Care Center of Cheyenne.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with Rev. Travis Walker officiating. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Her urn will be buried at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens with her daughter. Born Oct. 31, 1921, in Napton, she was the daughter of the late W.H.C. McMahan and Mable Williams. On May 21, 1941, in Richmond, she married John Y. Dennis, who preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2002. She had lived in Cheyenne since 1950 and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She was a clerk at JC Penney's and F.E. Warren Air Force Base in the past.
She is survived by two sons, John W. Dennis and his wife, Deborah, of Aurora, Colo., and Robert W. Dennis and his wife, Paula, of Burns, Wyo.; seven grandchildren, Brenda Cherry of Eaton, Colo., Brian Dennis of Loveland, Colo., Ross Watson, Andy Dennis, Chris Dennis and Nick Dennis, all of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Dusty Dennis of Burns, Wyo.; and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn Ann Watson, and her stepfather, Wallace Williams.
