Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, in the McGann Hay Granger Chapel, with Pastor Steve Schweir, of Christ the King Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation was held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday prior to the services. Burial was at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Mishawaka, Ind. Born June 23, 1922, in Malta Bend, she was the daughter of the late Percy Morrison Brown and Abbie Lee (Bryan) Brown. On June 23, 1946, in Malta Bend, she married Kenneth T. Leffman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2006. She worked as a receptionist at Life Realty after moving to South Bend in August 1970. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. The family wants to thank Dr. Stephen L. Anderson and Dr. William S. Sarnat for their many years of exceptional medical care.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy A. Sudrovech and her husband, Robert A., of Granger, Ind., and Janis L. Wohlberg and her husband, Ralph C., of Homer Glen, Ind.; five grandsons, Sean M. Liddell and his wife, Sarah L., of Moline, Ill., Brian C. Liddell and his wife, Delilah L., of South Bend, Ind., Kyle C. Liddell and his wife, Rachael A., of Granger, Ind., Matthew A Wohlerg of Homer Glen, Ill., and Andrew S. Wohlberg and his wife, Amanda D., of Oak Park, Ill.; four great-grandchildren, Nathan J. and Hannah K. Liddell of Moline, Ill., Connor R. Liddell of Granger, Ind., and Makenna P. Wohlberg of Oak Park, Ill.; and one sister, Zara L. Castle and her husband, Fred C., of Marshall.
