Mary Kay Collins, 48, of Carrollton, formerly of Marshall, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Feb. 18, 1963, in Elgin, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Richard Eugene Collins and Carol Elaine Ewert Collins Fontana who survives of Kansas City. She had lived in Carrollton since 2000, moving from Marshall, and worked at Opportunity Enterprises in Carrollton. She was a very kind and giving person who liked to shop, especially for things in her apartment, being with her friends, being outside, listening to country music and enjoyed cooking. She was a Christian and attended church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three brothers, Bobby Collins of Kirksville, Kenny Collins of Wichita, Kan., and Richard Collins of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Kimberly Sue Collins of Kansas City; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
