Frankie Lenora Kuhn, 96, of Marshall, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with Elder Cherryl Flandermeyer and William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Community of Christ Church in Marshall. Born Nov. 11, 1914, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Harold George Thayer Sr. and Sarah Deller Thayer. On May 21, 1938, she married Ralph Floyd Kuhn who preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1996. After high school she was a telephone operator and was the bookkeeper and office manager for Kuhn Aeromotive Company. She was a member of Community of Christ Church where she was the church musician for 76 years and was also a music director.
Survivors include three stepchildren, Juanita Copenhaven of Kansas City, Charles Leroy Kuhn of Rosamond, Calif., and Robert Kuhn of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Fern Thayer of Jefferson City; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sue Robertson of Marshall.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one stepson, Ralph Kuhn Jr. and one brother, Harold G. Thayer Jr.
