Andell Leon Washington, 61, of Boonville, died at University Hospital and Clinic in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Born Dec. 31, 1949, in Sedalia, he was the son of the late Birdie Mae Payne Washington and John Edward Washington. On April 24, 1977, in Sedalia, he married Anna Lee Kerr Washington, who survives of the home. He was a member of Pentecostal Church in Sedalia and was a laborer by trade.
He is survived by his children, Andell L. Washington Jr., Anthony R. Washington, Shaunte N. Washington, Dartanian D. Washington, Jamaal M. Washington, Rameka M. Washington and Takesha R. Washington; brothers, Ulyesses Grant Washington and Lazerom Vendus Washington, both of Sedalia, Alon Washinton of Fulton and Carstanisr Washington of the state of California; half brother, Jimmy Maupin of Sedalia; sisters, Delorea Nelson, Dieane Washington and Trelnia Washington, all of Sedalia, Deona Dawson of Atlanta, Ga., and Marlene Uriel of Warrensburg; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother; two brothers, Maurice Washington and Kenneth Payne; and sisters, Earlene Washington and Jeanetta Quinn.
