Robert H. Hostetter, 80, of Waverly, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Life Care Center of Carrollton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Waverly Assembly of God in Waverly, with Rev. Roger Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born March 18, 1930, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Manuel Hostetter and Sara Jane Markley Hostetter. He had lived in Waverly for many years and attended Assembly of God in Waverly. He worked in various industries through the years including working on the Alaskan pipeline.
Survivors include five children: Darrell Hostetter and Larry Hostetter both of the state of Arkansas, Tammy Cash of El Camino Island, Wash., Julie Hostetter of Las Vegas, Nev., and Randy Ford of the state of Texas; several grandchildren; one brother, Jack Hostetter of Waverly; three sisters, Helen McQuillian of Festus, June Webb of Ludlow, and Judy Hostetter of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robby Hostetter; two brothers, Leroy and David Hostetter; and three sisters, Virginia and Betty Hostetter and Carolyn Jones.
