   Compared to last week’s very light test, feeders had a much higher
undertone especially steers and bulls.  Even with a severe snow storm
beginning, demand for feeders was good to very good.  Slaughter cows
near 5.00 higher.  Cows and bulls were 15 percent of receipts.  In the
feeder supply, steers and bulls were 52 percent of the run; heifers
were 48 percent.  Near 29 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 385 lbs 167.00; 435-450 lbs
153.00-164.50; 500-600 lbs 133.50-139.00; 600-700 lbs 123.75-135.00; 800-
850 lbs fleshy 114.00-115.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 159.00-
169.00; 400-500 lbs 153.50-166.00; 500-600 lbs 132.00-155.00; 600-700 lbs
124.00-128.00, full 120.00; few 700-715 lbs 120.00; 800-865 lbs fleshy
109.00-114.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  few 350-400 lbs 129.00-135.00; 400-
500 lbs 126.00-135.25; 500-600 lbs 118.00-126.75.  Medium and Large 1-2
300-400 lbs 125.00-137.00; 400-500 lbs 123.00-132.00; 500-600 lbs 117.75-
126.75; few 600-625 lbs 112.75-120.00; 700-800 lbs 110.00-114.00; 750-
775 lbs fleshy 104.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 155.00-156.00; 400-
