Lois Edna Moore, 89, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Hazel Grove Cemetery. Born March 31, 1921, in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Ernest Bird and Lucy Magdaline Colville Bird. On June 22, 1940, she married Marshall Dean Moore who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1985. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Independence.

Survivors include four daughters, Gara Morton and her husband, Skip, of Mentone, Calif, Gail Higdon and her husband, David, of Owensboro, Ky., Terry Heilman of Marshall and Robin Franklin and her husband, Tim, of Marshall; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal Turner of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Bird and Virgil Bird, and three sisters, Gladys Wagle, Blanche Bird and Ruby Bird.
