Mary Janice Dingley, 75, of Cordova, S.C., passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Cordova, with Rev. Brian Self and Rev. Burt Williams officiating. Graveside burial was held in the church cemetery. Visitation was held from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 3144 Cordova Road, Cordova, S.C., 29039. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Orangeburg, S.C. is in charge of the arrangements.
Born Feb. 28, 1935, in Windsor, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Bessie Mae Perrick Miller. She married Edward Keith (Ted) Dingley of Cordova. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, David Dingley of Rockledge, Fla., Eric Dingley of Cordova and Neil Dingley of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one daughter, Susan Berry of Bowman; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Blankenship of Sacremento, Calif., and Patty Ballinger of Lake of the Ozarks; and one brother, Gerald Miller of Marshall.
