Receipts:  4036    Last Week:  1911    Year Ago:  3810

   Compared to last week, steers under 450 lbs near 20.00 higher on a
better test than last week; heavier steers sold 2.00 to 7.00 higher;
heifers under 550 lbs sold near 10.00 higher with heavier weights 2.00 to
5.00 higher.  Slaughter cows traded 1.00 to 2.00 higher.  Demand very good
with active traded.  Supply heavy with many quality offerings.  Cows and
bulls were 8 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls
were 61 percent of the run; heifers 39 percent.  Near 50 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.
