Thelma Mae Mullins, 93, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, with Rev. Rob Hand officiating. Casket bearers will be Phillip Mullins, Brad Myers, Jim Foose, Gene Foose, KC Mullins and Kenny Vickrey. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Heckart Funeral Home, where Moose services will be held. Born Aug. 14, 1917, in Augusta, Kan., she was the daughter of Odell E. and Anna Laura Ridge Cartee. On Feb. 13, 1939, in Marshall, she married Huston Wheeler Mullins, who died in February 1991. She was a seamstress at a coat factory in Kansas City and also worked at the shoe factory in Windsor. She was a Baptist and a member of Moose Lodge 1494.

She is survived by a son, Phillip M. Mullins, of South Lake, Texas; a granddaughter, Melissa Myers; and two great-grandchildren, Huston and Clayton Myers.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Joseph Cartee; a sister, Mary Bernice Droge; two half-sisters, Helen Louise Cartee Cole and Adell Foose; and a step-sister, Virginia Pannel Rowe.
