Kenneth W. (Kenny) Iliff Sr., 79, of Sweet Springs, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Sweet Springs Villa.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born June 25, 1931, in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late Stephen Iliff and Thelma Louise Hall Iliff. He married Betty Lou Jackson who preceded him in death. He had lived in Sweet Springs most of his life and was retired from J.R. Warren Construction Company of Grandview.
Survivors include his children, Thomas Wayne Iliff of Sedalia, James Edward Iliff of Sweet Springs, Kenneth Walcane Iliff Jr. of Concordia, Teresa Ann Rader of Sweet Springs, Timothy Lee Iliff of Sweet Springs, Betty Sue Persell of Sweet Springs and Brian Iliff of rural Sweet Springs; two stepsons, Dennis Heights of rural Sweet Springs and Darren Heights of Sweet Springs; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Kay Miller of Sedalia and Velma Lee Denny of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Stephen Iliff, one granddaughter and one brother, Harland Iliff.
