Receipts:  708    One Week Ago:  1323    Year Ago:  626

   Compared to last weeks larger test, feeders were near steady except
heifers under 550 lbs which sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower than last weeks
stronger showing.  Slaughter cows traded steady.  With the beginning of
a major snow event, demand was still good to very good.  Cows and bulls
were 28 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
57 percent of the run; heifers were 43 percent.  Near 24 percent of
feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  400-500 lbs 141.25-144.50; 500-
550 lbs 132.00-139.50; 600-700 lbs 120.00-126.00; 700-800 lbs 113.25-
119.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 369 lbs 145.25; 400-500 lbs 134.00-
147.50; 500-600 lbs 126.00-140.75; 600-700 lbs 122.00-124.50.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 123.00-133.00; 400-
500 lbs 123.00-129.50; 500-600 lbs 114.25-123.75; few 615-625 lbs 112.00-
112.75, pkg 648 lbs fleshy 108.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs
123.00-132.50; 400-500 lbs 120.00-126.50; 500-600 lbs 113.00-124.00; few
600-610 lbs 110.00-111.25.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 131.00-148.50; 500-
600 lbs 120.00-137.50; 600-700 lbs 111.25-116.50; 700-720 lbs 108.00-
110.25.
