Larry (Bo) Wallace, 62, of Kansas City, formerly of Marshall, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Jefferson Care Center of Lee's Summit.
Graveside services were held with full military honors on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Sunset Gardens in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to CSD Credit Union #1, 95th and Bannister Road, Kansas City, MO, 64138, to offset funeral expenses.
Born March 3, 1947, in Marshall, he was the son of the late William and Lorene Wallace. On Dec. 9, 1966, he married Charlotte Ann Nowak who survives of the home. He was a 1966 graduate of Marshall High School and entered the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1971. In 1972 he worked for Trailmobile of North Kansas City as a welder for 14 years. In 1985, joined the Hickman Mills School District at Ervin Middle School.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kristopher J. Wallace of Columbia; one brother, William Wallace of Warsaw; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and one grandchild.
