Larry Dean Aucutt, 62, of Spokane Valley, Wash., died of natural causes Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Jesuit House Chapel in Spokane, with Father Nigro officiating. A reception will follow in the Cog Building Washington California room.
Born Sept. 16, 1949, in Kirksville, he was the son of Emma Irene Elliott Aucutt, of Marshall, and the late Guy Leroy Aucutt. He was married to Donna Gillespie and later married Elaine Carr, who survives of the home. He grew up in Missouri and graduated High School in Trenton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the U.S.S. Faragut in the early 1970's. He later became a heavy equipment operator working in copper and silver mining in Northwest Montana. Most recently, he worked for Sodexo Food Service at the Jesuit House on the Gonzaga University Campus.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by one brother, Jerry Aucutt and his wife, Susi, of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Bays and her husband, Ron, of Marshall; one son, Ben Aucutt and his wife, Krystal of Missoula, Mont.; one daughter, Tobey Bakker and her husband, Dave, of Missoula, Mont.; four grandchildren, Nathan and Lance Aucutt, and Miranda and Stormy Bakker, all of Missourla, Mont.
