Linda Pearl (Stepp) Potter, 57, of rural Sweet Springs, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the family's choice. Born Nov. 23, 1953, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of the late John Stepp and Willa Jasper Stepp. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her longtime companion Ike Griffin of the home; two children, Mike Higgins and his wife, Lisa, of Springfield and Michelle Hardwick and her husband, Randy, of Marshall; one stepson, Josh Griffin and his fiancée, Samantha Dunn, of Virginia Beach, Va.; fourteen grandchildren, Kyle (Higgins) Lewellen, Allen, Josh, Justin, Jacob, Johnathan, Jaden and Jacie Higgins, Randy Jr., Mike and Chelsi Hardwick and Chloe Gordon, Gabriel and Ida Griffin; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Haven and Braydn Hardwick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret and Patsy Stepp and grandmother, Margaret Mitchell.
