Mildred P. Fisher, 89, of rural Miami, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Miami Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born March 19, 1921, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of the late William H. LeMaster and Anna Anderson LeMaster. On Oct. 30, 1943, she married Tom Fisher Jr. who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2005. She had lived in the Miami community since 1985, moving from Andover, Kan. She was a member of Miami Community Church, formerly Miami Baptist Church, where she served as treasurer. She was retired from Beech Aircraft Corporation in Wichita, Kan. and a member of International Machinist Union.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Devriese and her husband, Allan, of rural Miami; five grandchildren, Brett and Shawn Thistlethwaite, Julia Beets, Amanda Devriese and Elizabeth Davis; three great-grandchildren, Haley Hatch, Caitlin Beets and Maddix Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond LeMaster.
