Janice L. Baker, 60, of Warsaw, formerly of Marshall, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Barnes- Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Southside Assembly of God in Marshall. Born December 12, 1949, in Marshall, she was the daughter of William Otto Erickson of rural Malta Bend, and the late Alpha Mae Stark Erickson. On Sept. 29, 1972, she married Howard E. Baker who survives of the home. She had lived in Warsaw the last three years but spent most of her life in Marshall where she worked at ConAgra Foods for nearly 40 years. She had attended Southside Assembly of God in Marshall and was a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Warsaw.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two sons, Eric Baker of Kansas City, and Kyle Baker of Marshall; four grandchildren; her siblings, Sharon Henderson, Bill Erickson, Brenda Corf and John Erickson all of Marshall, and Melody Long of Pleasant Hill and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marlysa Schnay Baker.
