Charley Lee Narron, Sr., 79, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born Sept. 2, 1931, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Edgar Lee Narron and Jesse Lee Culbertson Narron. He lived in Marshall his entire life and served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was a retired sexton at Ridge Park Cemetery.
Survivors include twin children, Charolette Hardwick and Charles Lee (Chuck) Narron Jr. of Marshall; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter; one grandson; one brother, J.T. Narron; and one sister, Minnie Emma Quinn.
