Forrest Lee "Frosty" Small, 74, of Lexington, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, in Jackson County.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Scholarship fund for "Papa Jerry's Kids".
Born Jan. 10, 1936, in Mayview, he was the son of the late Robert and Lena Marie Hoeppner Small. On April 19, 1963, he married Marilyn Christian in Lexington, who survives of the home. He retired in 1992 from Lake City Munitions where he worked as a tool setter. The last 18 years he had been a school bus driver for the Lexington School District. He also delivered school buses all over the United States. He had served in the Missouri National Guard and was a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Randy Small and Chris Small of Lexington; One granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter M. Small of Higginsville and Robert J. Small of Lexington; two sisters, Mary Wallace of Lexington and Ruth Ann Cary of Osceola.
