Doug Jolliff, 50, of Marshall, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born Feb. 12, 1960, in North Kansas City, he was the son of the late Howard E. Jolliff and Margie Lou McDaniel Jolliff who survives of Marshall. On Dec. 18, 1999, he married Cortney Halsey who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall his entire life. He worked for Marshall Cable Company, Terry's Towing, owned and operated Xtreme Detail and was presently working for Missouri Valley College.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four children, Justin Jolliff and his wife, Heidi, Bobby Jolliff and his companion, Tracy, and Codey Jolliff and his companion, Freedom, all of Marshall and Morgan Jolliff of the home; three grandchildren, Jaggar Jolliff, Paxton Jolliff and Trevan Jolliff; two sisters, Jeana Wise and her husband, Josh, of rural Miami and Debbie Krumsiek and her husband, Mike, of Gravois Mills; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
