   Compared to last week, steers 400-600 lbs steady to 4.00 higher on a
good quality test; steers over 600 lbs steady; heifers firm.  Slaughter
cows sold steady.  There was a very good quality test of feeders and
yearlings.  Demand good to very good.  Cows and bulls were 27 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent of the
run; heifers 38 percent.  Near 41 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 137.00-140.50; 400-
500 lbs 129.00-141.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-134.50; 600-700 lbs 113.00-
122.00; 700-800 lbs 107.75-120.10; few 800-875 lbs 108.00-110.50; few
915-935 lbs 109.75-111.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 133.00-
138.50; 400-500 lbs 127.00-138.50; 500-600 lbs 116.75-132.25; 600-
700 lbs 108.00-117.25; 700-800 lbs 106.00-114.75; 835-900 lbs 106.75-

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 116.50-119.00; 400-
