Receipts:  960    Week Ago:  1282    Year Ago:  564

   Compared to last week, steer calves under 700 lbs sold steady to 4.00
higher; heifer calves under 650 lbs steady to 4.00 lower; heavier weights
were not a good comparison with last week.  Slaughter cows traded 3.00 to
4.00 lower on a lesser quality test of cows.  Supply included numerous
packages of quality feeders with fewer bull calves than last week.  Cows
and bulls were 21 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and
bulls were 57 percent of the run; heifers were 43 percent.  Near
30 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  335-400 lbs 128.00-135.00; 400-
500 lbs 119.50-134.00; 500-600 lbs 112.00-122.25, fleshy 109.00-112.00;
600-700 lbs 110.00-119.75; 700-730 lb calves 105.00-106.00; pkg 767 lbs
108.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 125.00-132.00; 400-500 lbs

fleshy 92.00-94.00; 650-700 lbs 98.75-102.75.  Medium and Large 1-2
300-400 lbs 110.00-114.00; 400-500 lbs 102.00-112.00, fleshy 95.00-99.50;
500-600 lbs 98.00-108.00, full 92.00-97.50; 600-700 lbs 97.75-100.00,
fleshy 94.50; 735-770 lbs 96.00-97.00.
