Born on Oct. 21, 1920, in Napton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. Dysart and Lillian Gibson Dysart. After spending her early childhood years in Sedalia, she moved to Marshall. On Aug. 21, 1946, she married Carlisle Morrison who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1984. She was a member of the First Christian Church since 1934 where she held the status of elder emeritus. She was very proud of the fact that she had hosted the Lily Bates Church Circle meeting at her home for the past 63 years. She spent many wonderful years as a wife, mother, and later, grandmother and great-grandmother on the family farm. In addition to family responsibilities, she was involved in many organizations. One of her great loves was the Marshall Chapter 408 Order of the Eastern Star where she was a 50-year member. She had served as worthy matron many times and also was a grand officer for the state of Missouri. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, The P.E.O. Sisterhood, Monday Club and the Hospital Auxiliary where she had worked many hours as a gift shop volunteer.

Survivors include one daughter, Kay Wise and her husband, Leroy, of rural Miami; two grandsons, Jeffrey Todd Wise and great-grandchildren Kailyn and Cade, and Jarid Wise and his wife, Nicole, with great-grandchildren, Abigail, Emily and Olivia.

She was deeply loved by many in the community and will be greatly missed.
