Ruth M. Arth, 84, of Marshall, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Cliff Cato officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born Oct. 15, 1926, in Weirton, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Willard O. Harless and Zona Mildred Harris Harless. On May 27, 1950, she married Kenneth M. Arth who preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1990. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was retired from Kraft Foods. She attended Southside Assembly of God in Marshall.
Survivors include three children, Mark Alan Arth, of Tampa, Fla., Kathryn A. Thomas, of Marshall and Stephen Kenneth Arth, of Gilliam; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Ronald Harless, of Buffalo and Dean Harless, of Conneaut, Ohio; two sisters, Joan Hunt, of West Alexandria, Pa. and Luetta Stillwell, of Follansbee, W.V.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Harless, and one sister, Vickie Destro.
