Vonnie Duffey, 45, of Houstonia, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Houstonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs. Memorials may be made to family choice. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Nov. 19, 1964, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Carl D. Tanner and Wilma Grogg Tanner Miller who survives of Windsor. On Oct. 14, 1989, she married Kelly Duffey who survives of the home. She had lived in Houstonia the last 20 years.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by five children, Travis Tanner, of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Dustin Tanner, of Sweet Springs, twin daughters, Tisha and Tosha Garrison, both of Overland, La. and Harley Duffey, of Houstonia; three sisters, Sharon Embry, of Boonville, Barbara Fisher, of Sedalia and Melissa Garrison, of Sweet Springs; two brothers, Clifford Tanner, of Windsor and Kennedy (Joe) Tanner, of Houstonia; her stepfather, Wayne Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Tanner.
