Oma M. Leslie, 98,of Farmington, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Cozean Chapel. Burial will be at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Born July 30, 1912, in Rippey, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Cecil (Kiever) and Charles McGee. In October 1932, she married Edgar A. Leslie in Olathe, Kan. and became a homemaker. She was a telephone switchboard operator from 1927 to 1932 in Harrisonville.
She is survived by two sons, Jerome "Jerry" Leslie, of Farmington and Charles "Ed" Leslie, of Marshall; two grandsons; six granddaughters; five great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy McGee and two sisters, Opal Burton and Glee Burks.
