Mabel Hollrah, 89, of Sweet Springs, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs with Pastor Dan Wing officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs. Born December 29, 1920, in Emma, she was the daughter of the late Charles Meyer and Sophia Loges Meyer. On Jan. 10, 1941, she married Harold L. Hollrah who preceded her in death on July 9, 1993. She had lived in the Emma and Sweet Springs area her entire life where she was a homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Hollrah of Sweet Springs, Dick Hollrah of Sweet Springs; one daughter, Ruth Ann Hilbrenner of Concordia; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Wilbert (Bill) Meyer of Emma; two sisters, Leona Fangman of Sweet Springs and Mary Ann Howard of Holt's Summit; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister in infancy.
