Slater man charged with 2 felonies after traffic stop

Tuesday, October 12, 2010

A Slater man two felony charges as Saline County Sheriff's deputies stopped him for allegedly crossing the center line of the highway three times late Friday, Oct. 8.

Brian E. Lunn, 48, was later charged with class D felony driving while his license was revoked and class C felony driving while intoxicated, according to unofficial online court records.

Lunn was stopped on Route P near Orearville about 11:30 p.m., according to a Sheriff's Department report. He exhibited signs of intoxication, deputies said, so a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper was called to the scene and Lunn was placed under arrest.

Editor's note: Charges contained in reports provided by law enforcement officials are not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting charges must be presented before a jury, whose duty is to determine if the accused is guilty or not guilty of the charges.
