Catherine Marie Robb, 83, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab.
Private family interment will be held at a later date at Fayette Cemetery. Per her wishes and her years of service as a nurse, she donated her body to the University of Missouri-School of Anatomy. Born May 5, 1927, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Surber Green and Alice Schwitzer Clay. She was united in marriage on June 21, 1940, in Slater, to Robert V. Pete Robb, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2001. Catherine previously worked at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia as a nurse. She was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and cooking.
She is survived by one daughter: Cathie Middleton of Jefferson City; two sisters: Helen Baker and Gloria Sparks of Marshall; one granddaughter: Shawnna Forck and her husband, Frank, of Taos; three great-grandsons: Derek, Dylan and Dalton Forck all of Taos; and several nieces and nephews.
