David Ray Crawford, 45, of Sedalia, formerly of Marshall, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Blue Lick Cemetery, south of Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Born April 19, 1965, in Marshall, he was the son of Riley Ray Crawford who survives of Marshall. He was born and raised in Marshall where he attended school as well as working with his father in his sandblasting business. David also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father.
In addition to his father, Riley Crawford, he is survived by one sister, Connie Hardin, of the state of Nebraska; one brother, Larry Crawford, of Marshall; grandmother, Ruby Johnston, of rural Marshall; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts, including his favorite aunt, Phyllis Kalthoff, who was by his bedside when he was called home.
David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Orville and Clara Crawford and his grandfather, David Johnston.
