Mary Ann Cramer, 91, of Marshall, formerly of Marshall Junction, died
Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, with Pastor Bill Talley officiating. Burial will be in Saltfork Cemetery, Nelson. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel. Born February 6, 1919, in Nelson, she was the daughter of Augustus William and Hattie Mae
Wood Cunningham. Mary was the ninth child of eleven children. On April 2, 1939, in New Franklin, she married Harold W. Cramer, who preceded her in death on October 23, 1990. She started working and cooking for Mr. Luther Scott's family when she was ten years old. She worked for Oasis Restaurant at Marshall Junction, Stampers in Marshall and Swift Plant in Sedalia, as well as other places in the state of California. She loved going auctions, collecting owls, gardening, hunting and fishing. Raising big gardens was one of her favorite things to do. She loved to can whatever she raised. She loved playing bingo and was known as "Bingo Mary."
She is survived by four nephews, Jon Kubli, Marvin Cunningham and Ron Cunningham, of Sedalia and John Cunningham, of Marshall; two nieces, Mary L. McKee and Juanita Vaught of Marshall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith "Julie" Lester; two brothers, William Cunningham and Woodrow Cunningham; two sisters, Roxie Kubli and Elsie Cunningham; three half brothers, Claud, Robert and Davis Cunningham and a half brother in infancy; two half sisters, Ruth Renno and Mae Raines.
