Hilda Haesemeier, 97, of Concordia, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at The Lutheran Nursing Home in Concordia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Concordia with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and the family request memorial donations to The Lutheran Good Shepherd Home in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born Oct. 24, 1912, near Alma, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Bushmann and Anna Nienhiser Bushmann. On Feb. 14, 1942, she married Albert Haesemeier, who preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2001. She lived in the Emma and Concordia area most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a past member of the Ladies Aid.
She is survived by her children: Dorothy Cordes of Concordia, Harold Haesemeier of Independence, Catherine Balls of Blue Springs, Melba Leimkuehler of Sunrise Beach and Beverly Sparks of Topeka, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Roberta Fischer of Marshall; one brother, Leonard Bushmann of Alma; along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Louise Bushmann, Laura Bushmann and Martha Bushmann; and two brothers, Ernest Bushmann and Robert Bushmann.
