Dixie, a 4- or 5-year-old lab, couldn't stop chasing her tennis ball. David Jones brings her to the park every day for a two-mile walk. "She loves to swim," Jones said. "I didn't want a dog when she first came onto the property. I tried to give her away to fifty different people. But she's wonderful, full of sunshine." Dixie leapt off the pool edge and crossed several lanes, only stopping periodically to catch her breath and pass the ball back to Jones.

always a blast!!!
I have wanted to get momentum behind a dog park for years, but didn't know if the plan would have support. Let's get together and brainstorm on a project, seek a site, and lay a foundation for this great idea. Who else out there is in on hatching a plan?
