   Compared to last week, feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 lower and feeder 
heifers 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Most of the 
feeder cattle available were offered as small pkgs and singles, but several 
strings of yearlings are expected for next week. Supply and demand moderate. 
Cows and bulls accounted for 23 percent of the total offering. The feeder supply 
consisted of 58 percent steers and bulls and 42 percent heifers; 47 percent of 
all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 132.00-136.00; 500-600 lbs 
127.00-132.50; 600-700 lbs 116.75-122.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 395 lbs 
126.50; 400-500 lbs 122.25-125.50; 500-600 lbs 122.50-125.00; 600-700 lbs 
114.25-119.00; 700-800 lbs 111.75-112.75.  

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 114.50-118.50; 500-600 lbs
