Boonville- Farmers Livestock Auction: Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 08/10/2010

   Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady where 
comparisons could be made. Slaughter cows steady to weak on a light supply. 
Different week but the same story with hot, humid days and heat indices well 
into the triple digits slowing cattle movement. Supply light and demand 
moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 11 percent of the total offering. The 
feeder supply consisted of 64 percent steers and bulls and 36 percent heifers; 
78 percent of all the feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
