Receipts:  401    One Week Ago:  490    Year Ago:  558

   Compared to last week, feeders steady-2.00 higher with some six weight
steers up to 4.00 higher.  Slaughter cows firm.  With a nice quality run
and good demand, feeders sold well.  Cows and bulls were 16 percent of
receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 56 percent of the
run; heifers 44 percent.  Near 36 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
There will be no sale in two weeks during the MO State Fair.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  pkg 392 lbs 133.00; 535-580 lbs
126.50-129.75; 700-750 lbs 109.50-112.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  few
350-400 lbs 133.00-133.50; pkg 402 lbs 130.00; 500-600 lbs 121.00-130.85;
600-675 lbs 115.00-123.50.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  500-600 lbs 111.00-119.00; 625-
700 lbs 107.75-111.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 120.00-123.00;
400-500 lbs 115.00-121.00; 500-600 lbs 115.25-118.00; 600-700 lbs 108.25-
111.50; few 700-750 lbs 104.00-109.00.  Medium and Large 2  pkg 493 lbs
110.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs 124.00-133.00; 400-
500 lbs 122.50-128.00; 500-600 lbs 110.00-119.00; 600-700 lbs 104.00-
110.00.
