Receipts:  723    One Week Ago:  508    Year Ago:  894

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 650 lbs near steady-weak;
heavier steers and heifers while not well tested last week sold firm on an
active trade.  Slaughter cows steady-1.00 lower.  Demand moderate-good.
Supply included 3-4 loads of yearling steers.  Cows and bulls were 12 percent
of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 74 percent of the
run; heifers 26 percent.  Near 73 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  400-500 lbs 124.00-135.00; 500-
600 lbs 118.50-125.00; 650-700 lbs 115.75-116.25; 700-800 lbs 110.00-
112.50; 825-855 lbs 105.60-105.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  335-400 lbs
126.00-134.00; pkg 440 lbs 125.00; 500-600 lbs 116.50-121.50; 600-
700 lbs 112.00-115.50; load lot 817 lbs 103.75; lot 852 lbs 100.00.
Large 3 Holsteins  pkg 683 lbs 74.25.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 112.00-119.50; 500-
600 lbs 110.00-112.75; 600-660 lbs 105.00-111.75; lot 718 lbs 104.50.
Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 110.00-119.00; 500-555 lbs  107.50-
112.00; pkg 693 lbs 100.85.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 120.00-128.00; 500-
