Rose C. Corley, 100, of Lamar died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Truman Healthcare Center in Lamar.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at Slater City Cemetery with Rev. David L. Duncan officiating. Memorials are suggested to Truman Area Transportation Service in care of Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar.

Born May 19, 1910, in Boonville, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anne Gantner Grauer. She married James E. "Jimbo" Corley, who preceded her in death Oct. 13, 2001. She was a Catholic. She graduated from Boonville High School and worked as a sales clerk at The Jones Store and JCPenney in Kansas City. She lived in Slater and Kansas City for many years until moving to Lamar in 1995.

She is survived by three grandsons; five great-grandsons; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Hager, and nine brothers and sisters.
