   Compared to last week, feeders were too lightly tested for a price
comparison.  Slaughter cows steady-1.00 higher.  Supply was light with
many producers baling hay, replanting corn, planting soybeans or a
combination of the three.  Cows and bulls were 21 percent of receipts.
In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 58 percent of the run; heifers
42 percent.  Near 22 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and large 1  few 315 lbs 132.00-133.00; 450-
500 lbs 124.00-128.00; 500-550 lbs 123.00-126.00, fleshy 120.00; few
600-700 lbs 109.00-117.25.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 360 lbs 131.00; 400-
500 lbs 123.00-130.00; pkg 603 lbs 115.50.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 448 lbs 115.00; pkg 511 lbs
117.00; pkg 653 lbs 104.75.  Medium and Large 1-2  few 380-400 lbs 114.00-
116.00; 400-500 lbs 113.00-114.50, fleshy 110.00; pkg 510 115.00; few 540-
545 lbs 110.00-110.50; few 610-660 lbs 104.00-105.50.  Large 1  pkg 413 lbs
110.00; 510-540 lbs 111.50-112.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 480 lbs 120.50; 500-600 lbs
