Lucile Rogers, 91, of Waverly died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Victory Christian Fellowship in Waverly with Rev. Jerry Curry officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Marshall. Born July 19, 1918, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Mack Lacy and Kate Miller Lacy. On Nov. 12, 1939, she married Max William Rogers of Malta Bend, who preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1987. She had lived in Waverly since 1963, moving from Saline County, and was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one cousin.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three children, Kathlene Rogers, George Albert Rogers and Joyce Ann Elgin.
