Receipts:  1747    Last Week:  2005    Year Ago:  1786

   Compared to last week, steers mostly steady to instances 2.00 lower;
heifers steady-2.00 higher.  Slaughter cows steady-1.00 lower.  Supply
included a nice quality run of feeders with numerous bulls and some
fleshy offerings.  Demand good to very good with active trade.  Cows and
bulls were 22 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls
were 57 percent of the run; heifers 43 percent.  Near 32 percent of
feeders weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 144.00-155.00; 400-
500 lbs 133.50-140.00; 500-600 lbs 125.25-135.50, fleshy 116.50-120.00;
600-700 lbs 124.00-130.25, fleshy 114.00-119.00; 700-800 lbs 117.00-
120.50; 800-850 lbs 107.00-113.00, fleshy 103.75.  Medium and Large 1-2
300-400 lbs 139.00-149.50; 400-500 lbs 130.00-137.50; 500-600 lbs
123.00-136.00; pkg 683 lbs 122.50.  Large 3 Holsteins  pkg 483 lbs 80.50.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 131.00-138.00; 400-
500 lbs 117.00-127.00; 500-600 lbs 114.50-122.00, fleshy 101.50; 600-
700 lbs 114.75-121.85, fleshy 101.00-102.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  300-
400 lbs 126.00-136.00; 400-500 lbs 117.00-125.00; 500-600 lbs 116.85-
122.00, fleshy 106.00-107.00; 600-650 lbs 112.50-114.75; few 720-
765 lbs 107.00-109.75.
