Linda Susan Long, 60, of Cameron died Monday, May 10, 2010.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, at Poland-Thompson Chapel in Cameron. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Born Nov. 15, 1949, in Sweet Springs, she was the daughter of Curtis and Betty Sue (Dennis) Wingfield. On Jan. 20, 1968, in Blackwater, she married Clifton G. Long, who survives of the home. She was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School in Sweet Springs. She was a member of Wayfarers Baptist Church in Cameron. She was the leader for the Daisy Girl Scout Troop and for Troop 8126 of Cameron.
Additional survivors include one son, Ray Long and wife, Andrea, of Cameron; two daughters, Leigh Ann Long of Cameron and Molly Long of the home; four grandchildren, MaKenzy, Jacob, Josiah and Noah; and one sister, Vicki Piper and husband, Bill, of Cherokee, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Curtis Wingfield II.
