Veronica Brown, 93, of rural Marshall, died Friday, April 30, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Born Feb. 10, 1917, in Shell Lake, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Eugene Millard and Lottie Holman Millard. On Feb. 14, 1942, she married Frank Brown Jr., who preceded her in death Nov. 5, 2009. She had lived in Saline County most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshall and the Stitch By Stitch Quilters Guild.
Survivors include two sons, Don Brown and wife, Joyce, of rural Marshall and David Brown and wife, Linda, of rural Marshall; one daughter, Connie Pratt and husband, Richard, of rural Marshall; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
