She was a nurse's aide for 18 years at Mar-Saline Manor. After retiring, she became a foster parent for five years. Ten sets of children were welcomed into her home as un-adoptable children. All these children were adopted by other families upon leaving Vickie's loving care. Vickie enjoyed her life as a Christian and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved fishing and her favorite pastime was playing video games.
