   Compared to last week, better quality feeder offerings steady to 4.00
lower; lesser quality and unweaned 2.00 to 8.00 lower.  Slaughter cows
steady to 1.00 higher.  Average feeder quality less attractive than last
week.  Demand moderate to good - best on green yearlings and heavier
feeders.  Supply heavy with many smaller consignments.  Cows and bulls
were 14 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
59 percent of the run; heifers 41 percent.  Near 38 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 350-400 lbs 123.00-134.00; 400-
500 lbs 124.00-135.50; 500-600 lbs 117.00-137.00; 600-700 lbs 111.25-130.25;
700-800 lbs 112.00-115.25; 800-900 lbs 103.10-111.75.  Medium and Large 1-2
300-400 lbs 126.00-141.00; 400-500 lbs 122.00-137.00; 500-600 lbs 119.00-
134.00; 600-700 lbs 113.50-125.00, fleshy 105.50; 700-750 lbs 109.00-116.00;
800-850 lbs 102.75-105.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 120.00-128.00; 400-
500 lbs 108.00-126.00; 500-600 lbs 101.75-117.00, full 98.00; 600-
700 lbs 105.75-116.75; 730-760 lbs 102.25-106.00.  Medium and Large 1-2
300-400 lbs 116.00-125.00; 400-500 lbs 103.50-120.50; 500-600 lbs 103.00-
113.50; 600-700 lbs 98.10-115.00, fleshy/full 96.75-97.00.
