Mary Louise "Lou" Coke, 60, of Malta Bend, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow and Greg Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Sept. 21, 1949, in Waverly, she was the daughter of the late William E. Stockman and Mary Maude Clyde Stockman, who survives of Marshall. She was a 1967 graduate of Malta Bend High School and a member of Malta Bend United Methodist Church. She had lived in Saline County most of her life and retired from Marshall Habilitation Center. In July 1982, she married Thomas L. Coke, who survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Chad Brooks and wife, Emily, of Marshall, Matt Coke and wife, Anne, of rural Marshall and Kelly Coke and fiancée, Amie, of Marshall; nine grandchildren, Avery, Carter, Spencer, Alexis, Zakary, Brenden, Luke, Jazlin and Marlee; and two sisters, Leslie Brooks and husband, Gary, and Laura Ryan and husband, William, all of Marshall.
