2 Marshall teens get suspended sentences in burglary, theft case (UPDATED 6:00 p.m.)

Michael A. Fales, 17, and Jacob D. Powers, 18, both of Marshall, each received suspended sentences and five years probation following their guilty pleas in Circuit Court Monday, March 22.

Each was charged with class C felony burglary in the second degree and class C felony theft for removing an estimated $2,048 in merchandise from a Marshall business in October 2009 at the request of a third party.

The two said they were told they would be rewarded for their efforts, but said the man who asked them to remove the items from the store immediately removed himself from the area on a bicycle, leaving them behind with empty hands and facing felony charges.

since there are so few men like cecil naylor left in this world they have probably not had a positive influence in their lives.i am not making excuses for them but a man like coach naylor would have those boys running "think laps"till they didn't have the energy to be "played".
