Everette H. Loges, 86, of St. Charles, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at Baue Funeral Home Chapel in St. Charles. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles.
Born March 18, 1923, in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Wilhimena Loges. On Nov. 10, 1946, he married Mary (Lynch) Loges, who survives of the home. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 312 in St. Charles. He worked with the Daniel Boone Soap Box Derby for many years. He worked as a carpenter for Moellering Concrete and his own company, Loges Foundations, for seven years. He was a member of Carpenters Local 1987 for more than 50 years. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in St. Charles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald Loges and Glenn Loges, both of St. Charles; one daughter, Gail Rodak, of Warrenton; one sister, Arline Kinkerman of Higginsville; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Lambert, Edgar, Floyd and Earl; and one son, Roy Dean Loges, in 1978.
