CART fund collections edge up in February

County Aid Road Trust collections for February 2010 totaled $56,182.76, Saline County Commissioners reported at their meeting Wednesday, Feb. 24.

That figure is higher than January collections of $55,529.71, as well as February 2009 collections of $51,741.19. For the year, a total of $111,712.47 has been collected, which is $5,720.35 higher than at the same time in 2009.

"At least it's up, finally," Northern District Commissioner Norvelle "Brownie" Brown said.

Commissioners will meet again Thursday, Feb. 25, at 9 a.m. in the lower level of the courthouse.
